San Diego - Feb. 2020. Dr Fred served on the advisory board of the International Sports Vision Association and participated in ISVA's annual meeting. It was a great meeting for sports vision practitioners to learn more about this specialty niche. Stay tuned for next year's meeting to be held in Orlando, FL, Feb. 2021.

Las Vegas Jan. 2020 Dr Fred was in Las Vegas with his lovely wife, Peggy, to present research on applying custom optics to specialty contact lenses to provide "super vision". These custom contact lenses specifically correct higher order aberration of the eye's optics. This exciting area of research is on the cutting edge of optical correction and has been used to provide athletes with vision superior to 20/20. All the way to 20/10!.

Hong Kong, China - Nov. 6-8, 2019 - Dr Fred was invited to deliver keynote lecture at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Advancements in Optometric Specialtie to enhance the visual performance of athletes internationally.

Paris, France, Jan. 2019 - The COC 2019 meeting reunited more than 900 eye care professionals. Dr. Fred lead a lecture on "Performance Vision Enhancement Training for Athletes". A task-analysis approach with a review of relevant research used to determine the pertinent visual skills utilized in sports. Vision training techniques that can be used to enhance essential visual skills was emphasized. Issues concerning sports improvement and adjustments to strategy were among the leading topics.
